SWIMMING POOL ENCLOSURE AND MOTORISED PERGOLA IN DURAL

We recently installed a swimming pool sunroom and electric louver pergola in Dural, a suburb that has become the home of the rich and their incredible houses in the north-western outskirts of Sydney. The entire project provides a simple and elegant design feature integrated with modern technologies. We have created a more comfortable and relaxing space providing extra privacy in the outdoor environment for our customers. They can enjoy it all year round.

Our client wanted a courtyard space that can be well compatible with the villa’s overall vibe and be usable in all seasons. Our proposal includes two parts. The first section is a pergola with a high flat roof which is naturally connected and transferred to the second section; a large pool sunroom with a glass gable roof enclosure to keep the pool safe, clean, warm, and exceptionally economical. The entire design is perfectly converged with the main structure of the customer’s luxury villa and their full-size standard tennis court. It brings out the best in each other.

The total size of the swimming pool sunroom is 120 square meters, which is probably the largest residential sunroom in NSW. The beams and columns of the sunroom are made of aluminum-clad steel material. It has the great advantage of ensuring improved structural safety at a lower cost compared to other materials. The span of the sunroom’s gable roof is 6 meters, and the highest point is 3.98 meters. There is no column on the water surface of the swimming pool to ensure clear space on the water. The roof adopts 8MM Polycarbonate solid outdoor panels, which prevent 90% ultraviolet and 70% infrared rays under the premise of ensuring light transmittance.
